FURminator Shed Control Cloths

Furminator cloths for cats

Unless your cat is a show cat, I don’t believe its necessary to bathe regularly. Besides, bathing can cause stress and blood pressure to spike.

There are alternatives such as waterless shampoos and specially formulated pet wipes.

I like wipes. However, very often they are so wet, that my cats don’t like the feel of the cold cloth on their bodies. It’s like giving them a bath. So we are back to square one!

That’s why I was thrilled to discover the Shed Control Cloths from FURminator. They are slightly damp, as opposed to soaking wet. Further they are also very lightly scented, taking into account a cat’s heightened olfactory senses. But, here’s the rub, if you will pardon the expression. The cloths  utilize a proprietary loop technology  that until now has only been used for human use. This looped system efficiently catches and keeps loose surface hair. So ultimately not only are they cleaning the fur, but they are helping with the de-shedding process.

The cloths are super thick. In fact, the packaging claims they are three times thicker than traditional wipes and are designed to be used three time before disposing of them. They are designed to be used daily, weekly or even once a month instead of a traditional bath. There are 12 cloths in the packet.

They really did an excellent job making the price of $11.95 a viable one.
