Loving Pet Houndations Treats

Houndations treats with caribeener

It’s really difficult to review treats because some dogs are not discerning and will eat anything including the packaging. Pixel is just the the opposite;  she does not like many treats, especially dry ones, but she likes these  soft chews – particularly the Lamb flavor.

For me, it matters that they are made in the USA with  all-natural ingredients. These soft chews are  also grain, wheat, gluten and corn free. They are available in five flavors  — beef, chicken, lamb, duck and salmon. They are the ideal size for little dogs like her and also perfect as a training treat.

There are lots of treats on the shelf but what made them stand out for me as the pet parent with the purse is the smart packaging; the treats come in a rugged resealable bag which really maintains freshness and has  a carabiner clip at the top – perfect for taking these treats on the go. It’s simply a matter of clipping them on to  bag handle, to the stroller, or even my belt loop, so they can go anywhere Pixel goes!

tip of the day

Young catIf your cat loves to drink water from a running tap, consider getting a drinking fountain for her. Cats in the wild drink running water and a pet drinking fountain recreates this in the home.

The Must Have Stamp of Approval is based on my personal opinion and the test experiences of the Reigning Cats and Dogs product testers as well as my personal knowledge of the product category. The Must Have Stamp of Approval is designed to advise pet parents on products that will in some way improve their pet’s health and well being, or, their own experiences as a pet parent. Manufacturers are welcome to submit information and samples of new and innovative products for testing. The product testing team consists of dogs and cats of different temperaments and activity levels etc in an attempt to cover a lot of bases and produce worthwhile reviews. The team loves what they do and get to keep the products so they can show off to their friends and further spread the word.
