New! Cure4Cats Day

For more than 50 years the Winn Feline Foundation  has been funding research studies to improve the health and well being of cats. The chances are that many of the treatments now considered routine when you take to the vet started out as a research initiative funded by this organization.

You can read about some of the advancements here in detail:

This year, they are designating October 21st 2017 to be the first Cure4Cats Day. The Foundation is the umbrella for numerous on-going funds that support research for fatal feline diseases such as the Ricky Fund that supports Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, the Bria Fund for Feline Infectious Peritonitis, the Speckles Abdominal Cancer Campaign (and various breed specific funds).

Cat lovers can donate to these individual funds or to the Foundation’s general fund.It all goes to ultimately helping to eradicate such diseases.

The organization recently also introduced  Winn Wins Wednesday e-bytes a great way for current supporters to learn about the exciting impact their donations are having. All cat owners and cat lovers are encouraged to sign up  to receive the Winn Wins Wednesday e-bytes and learn more about how every cat every day benefits from Winn-funded research. Archived Winn Wins Wednesday e-bytes can be accessed on the Foundation’s website.
