I’m A Rescued Pet Loud And Proud

October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month and the perfect time to adopt a canine soulmate. There is no question that rescued pets are special; they know they have been given a second chance and show their thanks with special love and devotion.

To celebrate adopted dogs, Up Country Inc., one of my favorite designers of canine and feline accessories has introduced a fabulous rescue design available in collars, harnesses and matching leads.Wearing it proudly is a tripod pooch that found a forever home. He was rescued from the Rhode Island Society for The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals which happens to be right next door to Up Country’s premises.

Up Country have supported this wonderful organization for more than seven years with their Give a Dog a Collar program. They have donated over 500 sets of collars and leashes to newly adopted dogs from the RISPCA. Newly adopted dogs go straight from the shelter, to be fitted with a collar that their new adoptive parents choose.  www.rispca.com

The Rescue collar is available in various sizes so that every pooch can wear it proudly this month and happily ever after. Besides its a great conversation starter in the dog park …
