If you are planning to relocate with your fur kids, it may be important to know that some cities are more pet-friendly than others. ApartmentGuide did some homework based on the number of dog parks, pet supply stores,  training and grooming facilities and of course the number of veterinarians. And  Knoxville, Tennessee came out on top of the dog pile.

This beautiful city is also the home of the University of Tennessee  which has a fabulous veterinary school. Some of the facilities include Knoxville’s 4-acre Concord Dog Park which has  a doggy dock and river access. And its an affordable city from a rental perspective.

Other cities that made the top ten list include Dayton OH, Wilmington NC, Columbia SC, Orlando FL,Scottsdale AZ, Miami FL, Lakeland FL, Rochester NY,  and Billings MT.

tip of the day

bounceIf you cat and dog has a lot of static in their fur, try using dryer sheets. Run one lightly over your pet’s coat to take out frizz and the friction. Don’t forget to wash your hands afterwards.
