This is genius. Pixel lives to chew on squeaky things! But until we received this ultrasonic dog toy, it had never occurred to me that there was anything that could be done about the noise. And, of course dogs want to play wherever other family members are and often her exuberance to play rules!
Dogs can hear sounds at a higher frequency (0 to 45 KHz) than humans (0 to 20 KHz). These toys are tuned to an ultrasonic range in the 24-28 KHz frequency, meaning that the squeakers in the Hear Doggy! toys are out of human hearing range, but still fun for your four-legged friend.
The plush toys are available in different sizes and have areas that are easy for smaller mouths to grab and play tug. There is a variety of different fun animals to choose from. Pixel lucked out with the pig which she absolutely adores.
The toys are made with Worldwise’s proprietary Chew Guard making them tougher than most. And, although I cannot hear it squeak (blissful silence!) Pixel is enamored with this toy and it has quickly become her favorite. So far, after many hours of play the pig is still intact.
