It’s really possible to share your garden with your dog. The “No Chew” command can help you preserve your newly planted shrubs, which to your dog smell suspiciously similar to dead sticks. If you have a new puppy, it is a good idea to screen off sections of your yard until you have taught him the basic commands he will need to understand your garden rules.

Distraction toys such as a Kong can provide additional hours of fun if you stuff it with Ultramix sweet potato or pumpkin puree and freeze the toy until the puree is solid. Be sure to give the stuffed Kong to your dog outside or somewhere where you won’t mind cleaning up the mess – if he doesn’t lick up everything for you! Peanut butter is another great option.
