Glow sticks and glow jewelry, popular items sold at pop concerts and theme parks attract cats especially if they flash when batted around by deft paws. They contain a chemical called dibutyl phthalate which clauses them to glow. When chewed and the chemical comes it contact with the mouth, it can cause a painful reaction as well excessive foaming at the mouth.
